This whole breastfeeding thing is still new to us. Jonathan has taken quite an interest in it. I, on the other hand, have try to remain modest and make sure the kids are somewhere else in the house! Jonathan has had many questions about the process to which I am uncomfortable talking about. So I finally told him that God gave mommy's special milk thingys to feed their babies. He now calls them "milk jugs"! Later he informed me he "got it", I was just like a mammal!
A couple weeks ago, we were at a restaurant with Jason's parents. Eating out, or going any where, with all the children is always an event. Usually total chaos! Anyway, Steven started fussing so Jason's mom offered to hold him while I went to get something to eat. After I returned, she wanted to know if she could put Steven back in the carseat (he had stopped fussing at that point). Jonathan yells out, "Why don't you just feed him with one of those milk juggy thingys?" I almost died! I just looked at him in horror...and embarrassment! Everyone else was trying not to laugh! Jason did inform me that I could not blame him for that because I was the one who talked to Jon about it.

Amazing!
I had my six week check up today and received a good report. It is always nice when the doctor tells you you look good! My scar healed nicely and everything is in order. The best part was when I got on the scale and asked if I had lost any weight and the nurse told me I lost 22 lbs! I asked her if she was sure and she showed me my chart. Sure enough the numbers were correct. I couldn't believe it. Let's hope I can keep it up. It would be nice to lose at least another 50lbs.
Jonathan also went to the doctor today. He has an itchy rash all over his body. Apparently, it is from the sun. So he needs to take some Benedryl and take an oatmeal bath. Thank goodness it is nothing serious. I just have children with sensitive skin. Jon was quite funny backing up to the table or something sharp to scratch his back. He looked like a bear!

Steven gained weight!
Yeah! We visited the doctor again on Tuesday and Steven gained 12 ounces. Praise the Lord! Now he just needs to continue to gain weight. We won't go back until his 2 month check up. He now weighs 10lbs 2 ozs and does not need to eat every 2 hours. I am so glad we have passed that hurdle! Thank you for your prayers.
I will post some pictures and other news soon. Still trying to get a handle on things! Not an easy task!

Good News...
Took Steven for a weight check today and he has gained 4 ounces! PTL! Although, it is not what the doctor would like to see...he wants more weight...he said to keep doing what I am doing and bring him back again next week. Steven has significantly improved from last week. His belly was full and his intestines were fine. Thanks for your support and please continue to pray for us.
Yeah!!
Yeah!!
