Chores

My children have a great life! They have very little to do besides the obvious picking up after ones self. At times, that can be quite difficult. Once in a while they are asked to sweep, set the table, collect the garbage. I am not good at being consistent with these things. I know I need to bee. One of the things Jon and Sami are suppose to do is feed the dog. Sami feed him in the morning and Jon at night. (I usually end up doing it!) I have decided Nick will never have to be told to do anything! He just sees us doing it and one day he will start doing the same thing i.e. pushing in the bottom drawer of the fridge with his foot or putting his shoes away. So, I was not surprised to find him deep into the dogs food container getting out food and emptying it into his bowl. It was quite humorous! Duke sat patiently waiting for the magic word so he can eat. Of course, Nick doesn't know that and keeps dumping food in his dish! When he was done, Nick did say 'Go, Duke' and pointed to the bowl. Now if I can just get the other two to do it!

Ahh, peace

I usually put Sam to bed around 7pm. Then spend the next 2 or more hours trying to keep her there! This night she got into some of her things (we finally got her room cleaned!) and fell asleep while playing with them. It was after 10pm!

Recently, Nicholas went in for his annual ear cleaning and hearing test. Everything went fine and the time was alot shorter than we expected. He came out of anesthesia rather quickly and was ready to go home!

Waiting for the doctor. They didn't want to do the procedure because they

thought he might have an upper resp. infection....which could lead to other complications...

like a trip to the ICU if they had to put a tube down him...

Nicky likes to get the dog going by howling. It is so cute! I tried to get him to do it but he was more interested in the camera! It's still cute!
